Hello everyone!

I hope you had an amazing winter break and feel re-energized to tackle the winter semester. January is a month full of surprises not only because we just started the year but also because it provides us with the opportunity for new beginnings. Everyone is ready to achieve his or her personal, professional and educational goals. Nevertheless, a positive attitude and the willingness to overcome any challenges that you might face are the keys to success. As the semester is starting to take on full speed, we recommend you to make some time and join us on January 31st, 2015 for an experience that will impact your life positively. We promise that not only will you meet lovely individuals but you will be challenged to think about issues regarding gender imbalance that are prevalent in Canada and around the world. We will be holding our third annual Women Empowerment Conference that will be bigger and better than ever! The conference will be taking place on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

The keynote speakers for this conference including Mamdouh Shoukri, President of York University, and Farrah Khan, a prominent public speaker, educator, and artist. In other words, there will be some very powerful people on campus on Saturday, January 31st, 2015, who will be there for the sole purpose of empowering YOU!
